Project Overview
The original home is a 1920’s bungalow with a solid red brick façade. The owners desired an open plan living and dining area with outdoor entertaining space to be added to the back of their home. They knew exactly what it was they were looking for and were after an impressive modern extension.
AVJennings Home Improvements completed a stunning modern light-filled extension featuring high ceilings, halogen downlights and large windows on every wall.
The addition incorporates a new formal dining room, separate living area, second study, a spacious laundry area and an enclosed verandah space perfect for year-round entertaining.
The extensive use of windows included a series of highlight windows placed just underneath the raised ceiling. These windows flood the home with natural light, infusing the entire addition with an undeniable sense of space.
